I gave my car to the dealership for oil change. Every time they take, they go around the x and make not of any scracthes. It had never happend before. After I got the car and parked my car in the parking lot, I found that there are some visible scratches on my car just above the right back light. I alawys take great precaution to avoid scraches but I can not take this one
What should I do?

You mean you didn't notice them until you got home? How long has it been? If they go around the car when you drop it off, you need to check it for scratches before you leave the lot. Then it's a clear cut case of they scratched it. If it was yesterday and you noticed them after you got home, then you need to go back or call right away. The dealership response will likely depend on the severity of the scratch and the length of time that has passed. If it is a buffable scratch then the dealership will just buff it out. I would head back to the dealer (if it hasn't been to long) but I would stop at a good body shop on the way to determine what is needed to really fix it. That way when the dealer suggests buffing, you'll know if it will really fix it or not. Good Luck. |
