| As many of you may be aware, BlitzSafe finally has an adapter for the 2005 MDX with NAV (and no RES). The model number is HON/M-Link V.2 NAV. Unfortunately, it requires disconnecting XM. I just got off the phone with Blitzsafe. They are supposedly 30-45 days away from releasing an adapter that does NOT require disconnecting XM. The new adapter will work on NAV vehicles with or without RES. The moDel number is HON/M-Link V.2X. FINALLY!!! |

Great news! I searched these forums for some time and always got info on 2004 and older or 2005 with RES.
We'll finally have a real solution that doesn't kill XM in the process.
Thanks for the info!:

Yes, but the real question is: will it display the artist/song info on the nav (or radio) screen, and select playlists using radio controls? |

| Highly doubtful, but at least we'll have something better to work with than the lousy FM transmitters, not of which work worth sh__! |

Not to burst your bubble, but thats what they informed me 2 months ago. As far as what I have learned thru local installers, I wouldn't hold my breath on it.:14: |

Well if Blitzsafe has it, it isn't mentioned on their website... I have a 2k5 Navi w/o RES and so far Dension doesn't have one, Monster doesn't have one and of course Blitzsafe doesn't appear to have one.
Anyone else have any luck on vendors?
thanks,
Doug |

| I think everyone's waiting for the Acura solution. See the other thread about this - it's planned for 2006 MDXs, and we're waiting to see if they can retrofit it to 2005s. |
