| I wanted to know if you could listen to a concert on DVD without having your headphones on, Example: A long drive, my favorite concert, Guests in back watching on screen, I’m doing the driving while listening. I tried to make this happen with no success. Is there a way to make this happen? Any reply will be appreciated. Thank You.......... :8: |

| Hit the DVD/AUX button on the main radio to hear the sound from the DVD. |

Just a minute. If he does that, then he will hear what is playing in the DVD player , which is a DVD since there are people watching the screen. You can't play a concert DVD in the CD player ( I think).

You missed the point. By hitting the DVD/AUX button, everyone will hear what is being played in the DVD unit, including the driver. I listened to Boz Scaggs' "Greatest Hits Live" like that on the weekend. |

Exactly. That's what Maldoman wants to do. |

I didn't miss the point. The above example DOES NOT SAY whether the driver wants to hear a separate concert DVD. If he wants to hear what is in the DVD player, the same what the guests in the back are watching, then pressing the DVD/AUX is the way to do it. I've done it all the time when my kids don't want to use the headphones. But, the passenger can't listen do the CD player. |

Why are you introducing the CD player into this? Nowhere is it mentioned except in your posts.... |

| Thanks everyone for your valued input, all I wanted to do is listen to my favorite concert while my guests watch. Since I can't watch while I drive, at least I can enjoy the sounds!! Again thank you...:2: |

maldoman,
Just another note, make sure you hit and hold down the rear entertainment power button until you hear a beep and the speaker icon displays on or off. This toggles between the sound coming out of the rear speakers or the headphones.
Now back to my movie....:D |
