| I managed to scratch my nav touch screen. It still works but there is a big scratch on it. Any suggestions on how I can remove the scratch or can I buy just a replacement screen. Thanks. |

| Leave it alone and try to forget about it, depending on what year it is either touch sensitive or uses the infrared border. BUT like ALL lcd is has a anti-glare coating and anything you use will prob make it worse. I did it once to a LCD laptop. If anything you can buy a used navi and cannibalize it for the screen but it has to be the same model and sometimes the exact LCD. I found this out when replacing the one in my laptop. |

| On a side note is there any known type of film you can purchase and overlay over the Navi screen to keep this type of thing from happening?? |

Thanks for the advice. I will leave it alone. The year is a 2002. Any ideas where I can look for a used screen. I am sure the new ones are outragous.
ebay seems to be the best source, or a autosalvage yard near to you. Those screen overlays might be good. Im concerned as far as the reflectivity of it. |
