Did anyone catch the game last night? Awesome! Especially if you’re a Longhorn fan. Vince showed how tough he was after getting beat up by the Ohio State defense. But the game also showed that the Texas defense is pretty darn good since Ohio State couldn't cash in all those opportunities. I think the two teams are pretty well matched but coaching blunders by Tressel really hurt. I also thought Ohio State was supposed to have some Heisman hopefully named Ginn or something. Oh yea I see his state now--2 catches for 9 yards. I guess at least one player came out of the game with his Heisman credentials cancelled.
I guess Ohio State fans have one thing to celebrate---Michigan lost too.
Go Longhorns! |

| Yes I watched the game, a very good game and I do think they are pretty evenly matched. However watching the game I don't think either team should be in the top 5. |

You don't think either team should be in the top 5??? Well maybe not Ohio State now since they have a loss but before that game they probably deserved it. As far as Texas goes they are definitely a top 5 team and deservedly number 2 team. Beating Michigan in the Rose Bowl and now beatling Ohio State in Columbus. Those are big wins!
It is long season with many games to go though. |

I disagree, both should be top 10 yes, top 5 no. Who cares who they beat last year!?!
I will be really surprised if Texas runs the board. Ohio state got 16 points with a slightly better than good offense. There is many other factors but not really worth arguing about. Would be nice to see them both win out but I just don't think that will be the case. |

| Longhorns win in Columbus was impressive, but not a surprise to me. UT was the better team on paper. Question is, can they finally break the drought against OU ? I would love to see UT run the table, then we will see if they can match up against 'SC - that would be a great BCS title game matchup. |

As we all know wins can come in streaks. UT has had streaks against OU and still leads the overall series by quite a bit. But also we all know that records and ratings don't mean much when two big time rivals meet. I agree it would be nice for UT to win out and play USC, if USC wins out. That would be quite a game in January. |
