Hello MDX owners,
I have 2 MDX base wheels with almost new tires (about 800 miles) I used one as full size spare and sold one. I will sell them for $200 each. Buyer pays shipping from the bay area CA. It $40 to east coastvia UPS..

I actually looking for Touring rim/tire as full size spare. However, since being in the thread, I would like to ask you how do you mount the full size spare? face down? How does it fit underneath the car? How much does it protude from the well comparing to the compact spare? Does it goes lower than the vertical shield right next to the muffler?

Ron is in the SF Bay Area, the other coast. Even with the shipping cost, it is still very cheap comparing with brand new.
I am waiting for a Touring one ...

I sold all mine but I bought 3 more from a friend who upgraded to Touring wheels... SO I still have some for sale..
Shipping will cost about $40... I will be shipping them from CA zip 94545.. the packages weight about 55 lb. You can check with UPS.com for exact cost..

according to ups.com, shipping will cost ~$33 - since you already used it bf you probably have more information how to ship, now
on the original tires you mentioned 800 miles, what's the mileage on your friend's? any damage to the rim or tire itself?
please pm me to discuss the details of the transaction, and... still for $200 (base rim & GY tire)?

Ron has replied to it on one of the thread in the last 30 days. He also have pictures of full size spare installed. It just showed a little bit and no impact to any of the MDX features and performance. In fact someone said the weight is the same as that of the compact spare.

I will have all (4) of my base rims and tires for sale this weekend.
I think the $200 is fare price + the shipping.
My question is how did you package these and ship them out? I want to do the best so they do not get scratched at all during transport. Also, did you use UPS? That is one concern I had.

| I used some card boards to protect the face of the wheels and UPS them.. I think they weigh about 55 lbs each.. |
