| This is my first time shopping for an MDX and I have a pretty good sense, based on reading this very helpful forum, of what a "good" price is right now. I'm in no great rush to buy -- i.e., I can wait until the end of year. My question is how much better are the deals likely to get? Do folks know whether in past years and MDX could be gotten at year end for much better than $1,500 under invoice? What are folks' best guesses at the deals we're likely to see in October, November, December? I understand the risk that stock may dwindle. |

| Technically, this time IS the end of the year as new models roll out, and most deals can be made as dealers rush to empty their lots of old models. If you're not in a rush, why not wait for the next gen X? |

I believe that this is the first year that they have gone under invoice with a hidden Acura rebate. This rebate will likely be gone very soon (this month) as the 2005's are cleared out - I doubt the rebate will be increased. 2006's are hitting the lots now. The next gen x is the redesign due next out year. |

You didn't mentioned which part of the country you are from. Here in Virginia, looks like $1500 below invoice, give or take a few hundred, is pretty much the best available offer right now. Whereas, the west coast people are getting $2000 below invoice and more. And yes the inventory is getting low because the 2006 MDX will be on the dealer lots probably in November, I believe. There will only be minor changes in the 06, but others are referring to the totally redesign 2007 MDX coming out end of 2006, which should be very exciting. |
