Based upon the descriptions I've read and the photos I've viewed, I was expecting the Acura logo, not MDX to be printed on the cargo tray I ordered.
What should an authentic Acura MDX cargo tray have printed on it?

| Authentic cargo tray will say "MDX", just like yours. |

| The HAW site says it's Acura but the one I ordered from Tim says MDX. Not a big deal to me. I know I have an Acura, but I'm not hung up on it. I usually call it 'the Honda'. |

Yes, some cargo contents require OEM standards; otherwise they will migrate over to Lexus :D |

The quality of the material seems inexpensive (certainly not what I expected from an Acura product), which is why I am questioning its authenticity and thus the seller from whom I purchased it from.
Not that your response confirms anything, but at least I know that it should have an MDX printed on it. Hey, wait one second ... taking a second look ... mine says MXD. JK.

You are correct, I have had cargo get out of the box to check the quality of the mat. If it does not have the MDX logo it will go to another vehicle to be transported.

| For production year '01 and possibly early in '02, floor mats, cargo covers and cargo trays had 'Acura' embossed on them. From then on, 'MDX' replaced Acura. So, if you get one that says 'Acura' and not 'MDX' it's not new and dates back to '01-02 . . . |

Oh, Oh, careful now. I could get very upset if you let that word get out to my golf clubs. I have enough trouble with them without them finding out that I am not giving them the absolute top dollar ride. Why they would probably just get out and leave. :2: Of course that actually would probably not make a very big difference in my game.
