Anyone know of a product that goes between a windshield sticker and your windshield? The idea is to let you remove the sticker without destroying it or your windshield. You affix your sticker to this product, which is like a clear vinyl sheet, then affix the vinyl to your windshield. The vinyl sticks, but not permanently - it can be removed and re-affixed easily.

I bought a little cardboard envelope of these things last year for my Chicago city & zone parking stickers, and they were great! But the store doesn't carry them anymore, nor do they remember what the brand was, and I can't find them anywhere else. As you can probably tell by now, I can't even describe what I'm looking for too well!

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Somebody gave me some stuff to protect my watch face a number of years ago. I believe it was a protective film for skis. It was pretty slick. But I have no idea if that's what it really was.

Depending on the size of the stickers you need to affix, you might try the Write Right screen protectors made for palm pilots. They are little stickers that you affix to your palm screen to protect from scratches. They peel off easily. Either that or just clear contact paper would probably work.

Way back in a day, I used to use Saran Wrap for my parking stickers. It seemed to work back then.
