Since yesterday there is strange sound that appears to be coming from the right rear side. It comes and goes at random times. It happens irrespective of speed or road or other driving conditions.
It goes away by itself but it certainly goes away when I lightly tap the brake or gas. When I roll down the right rear window it becomes louder which leads me to believe its coming from the outside and not inside.
The sound is a deep groan kind of noise - like a dry bearing or badly worn out brakes or something. Its sometimes faint, sometimes loud enough to be heard without making any efforts to listen for it.
The brakes were checked last month and are good.
Has anyone else experienced this ? What could this be ? |
