Are there any CR-V owners out there? We are picking up an '03 for a daily driver and I was looking for an appropriate forum.
I want to rack up 10,000 posts there too!

IIRC, MsuGt & Fabvsix have recent model CRVs and of course they seem to post regularly . . .

My wife's '97 CR-V with ABS was purchased 11/18/97. It has just under 80,000 miles and is running great. No mechanical problems - only battery, tires, brakes and wiper blades. When the MDX is paid off in 2 years, we'll replace the CR-V which will be 10 years old and get something smaller for my commute. The '97 is a first year CR-V and is considered underpowered. Honda boosted the HP with subsequent models.
I would highly recommend the CR-V. |

The 05 Special edition has so much more going for it IMHO than the 03. Almost bought one, in fact, were it capable of 3 carseats in the seond row. The engine still feels a little underpowered, but who can deny the savings in fuel economy. |

Thanks for advice..the 03 is a done deal.
We get it tomorrow.....it received immaculate care from a fellow MDXer who does not frequent the board often these days.
You guys are great..I'll be gone about 3 days...let the TEN THOUSAND
