Did everybody get a $100 Gift Card from Acura?
Can the card be used at any dealer?
Was it just the dealer Jerry Damson that I purchased from 3 years ago?

Can I spend it with Tim?!?

Where was the envelope postmarked? What was the return address? Were there no instructions in the envelope? Is there no fine print on the paperwork?

Got mine from Heart Acura a few months ago. You can spend it at any dealer.

We got one a few months ago. Per the letter that we received it was only able to be used at the dealer specified in the letter. In our case we have 2 Acura dealers close to us but the one mentioned in the letter is where we purchased the X.

Received mine. Can be used at any dealer... Great gift!

Received mine two moths ago from my dealer and already used it on my 30,000 mile service.

Looks like the only folks to get one were '02 and '03 owners. VA Tech Hokie traded an '02 so I'm guessing they still showed him as owning an '02 in some un-updated database. Based on G. Colton's response it doesn't look like he got one. I have yet to receive one. Any '04 or '05's receive one?

This may just be a selective dealer driven deal and not a free-for-all.

Maybe it's a kiss-up for the tranny issues etc. on '01-'03......???

I have an 03 but did not recieve a gift card. Maybe it's because I do ala carte service and not the "named" services (15K, 30K, etc) so they don't make as much money off of me?? :D

Yes, I received the $100 card in May or June, before I purchased the 2005.
I used it for one oil change on the 2002 and then used the rest of it towards the purchase of
the wide body side molding for the 2005. Most importantly, my card was NOT dealer dependent.

Sounds like a "Since you have an older MDX why don't you pay a visit to the dealer so we can sell you a new one" gift card.

If you have been getting all your maintenance done at an Acura dealership, you are only getting back some of the over-charges.

I have never taken the MDX to the dealer (need to for a couple recalls).
And the card has the out of state dealer I purchased from.

I was hopeing I could use the card to buy fluids locally...

Appears the "only 2002-2003" theory is still holding water.....

It was a general statement. I did not mean to imply everyone who got a card did all their maintenance at Acura.

I am just p*ssd I didn't get one...

I didn't get one either. It would seem that it would be a nice incentive for those of us coming off our leases - that maybe we would look to get another Acura :1:

As it is, I have 8 more days as an MDX owner :( - then it's take the Chrysler product as a company car (probably will choose the Pacifica).

I believe the dealer sets the criteria as to who receives them, I honestly don't remember......

Spend em here if you like :)
