I am looking at getting my first MDX. I am looking at a '02 touring with 19,500 miles on it. I can probably get it for $24,500. It does not have running boards or nav. I live in the Chicago Area. Do you think it is worth it?
thanks in advance,

Most would stay away from used 2001 and 2002's due to the tranny problems. 2003 and up had far fewer problems. |

| I heard about the tranny problems but I thought there was a recall by Acura to fix the problem. Am I wrong about that? |

There were instances of failures after the recall was performed. |

| Thanks for the assistance. I don't think I can afford and '03 so I guess I am out of luck. |

Well, you can still purchase the 2002. Check the maintenance history with an Acura dealer, check carfax, etc. Then purchase the Acura Care extended warranty, which you can get cheaper online at places like www.hondacuraworld.com. |
