Hi, I have a '05 Touring with no NAVI, and I want connect my iPod.
I have question if anyone of you use Harman/Kardon Drive+Play controller and how it works with MDX 05???

I had Circuit City install the Drive+Play with an FM modulator. I am still trying to determine why we need to use the FM mode, which will have degraded quality. The current install (my third attempt with them) has a toggle on the FM modulator that needs to be set to switch from dedicated iPod mode or true FM. My real issue is my AM signal doesn't work when the FM modulator toggle is set to iPod mode, which seems to indicate a miswiring. I like the display and control of the D+P, but the sound quality is worse than I had with a cassette adapter.
I am using the CD Changer / cassette factory installed standard audio system.
Has anyone else had better luck connecting the D+P directly to the CD Changer or AUX?
I am frustrated and considering scrapping the whole experiment until the musiclink is ready for 2005 models. |

| The MusicLink is ready for the 2005 MDX. Just get the kit from Tim with the January special discount and you can install it yourself in a couple of hours max. Check the other thread for installation questions/pics. |
