I put the unit above the navigation-dvd-rom player. Could anyone show me where I need to connect 12 v wire to trigger a nav screen to back up camera(when you put the gear to reverse)? Thank. ductrinh I thought you can simply use the same power source as your rear backup lights. These are engaged when your transmission goes into Reverse which is exactly what you want... hcarddss Thank for your reply. I think I get it now. Connect power wire of back up camera to back up light. Then I connect other 2 wires (-, +)from back up light that run along with back up camera video wire to the unit. The way I thought was I connect the power of back up camera to back up light, run the video wire to the unit. The 12v trigger wire from the unit connect somewhere at the tranmission gear shift. intek_gsr where did you mount your backup camera?
