just want to see what you guys all think about it .. I have a black 05 X .. you think it will look good? if anyone have any X with this bar installed. Can they post dome pic?
Thank you.
Nope. The probiscus on the X is already quite pronounced. It doesn't need more prominence.
Unless you're goin' to the Outback, why would you need this? |

I agree that they do not do anything for the looks but what about parking lot protection? I have been considering something in black so that it would have the least visual impact.
Would it not offer some protection from other cars?

Parlking lot dings happen mostly on the doors and quarter panels. Perhaps we should be getting these bars installed on the sides.... |

Take a look here. And please ignore those that keep asking snide questions about why you might want to use one of these. This is an info. site, not an interrogation site.
Perk,
Relax. The man was asking for opinions. I gave him mine. I did not interrogate. |

Wilkie,
I have the T&H bull bar and single pipe bumper guard on my '05 b/b. I live and work in NYC and people cannot park to same their lives. Three days after getting my new X, someone scratch the front bumper. After installing the front and rear guards, it saved me countless dings and dangs. I like way my X looks and especially after a good car wash, it does add "bling" affect. I went with stainless rather than black powder ones. The whole set up came out with installation about $650

Wilkie,
I have been meaning to take some pictures of my X but I just cannot find time to do so. Give me a week or so (it is raining like cats and dogs in NYC) and I will try to get some shots in.
