We are recent owners of an '05 Touring/NAV/RES in AWP. So far we love this vehicle. Every once in awhile when I'm driving, I hear a thumping noise or something coming from the rear. Sounds like its coming from under the car at the rear. This happens when I reverse or turn slightly.
I don't notice it all the time, only once in a awhile depending on the direction and speed of the vehicle. Anyone know what it is?:confused: |

| The notorious gas slosh, maybe? Thought they fixed that. You sure nothing's loose in the cargo and storage areas, and spare tire for that matter? |

| I hear that same thump or clunk, too, coming from the rear. Hoping to take it to the dealership soon. |
