Last time I checked it, I got 18.9 to 19.4 mpg.
No bad. Mixed city and hwy driving.

Looks like you are averaging 16.7MPG over your last 335 miles. That's not anything too special, I don't think.
I'm at 19.3 over my last 450 miles, but many of those are highway miles, otherwise I'm usually around 17.1 mixed. |

| On the trip setup, do any of you ever press the reset button? Or do ya just leave it alone? |

I got the Touring model, don't have a nice display to show.

The last 5 trips history screen applies only to the '01-02.
Starting with '03, the history screen only shows your last trip.
Of course, those w/out Navi have no idea what you're tripping on . . .
Oh, and there's a bug in the trip screen. Sometimes my trip history resets even tho I don't fill up or hit the manual reset . . . |

And I have a 2003 X, so dont get a listing of all my previous trips...only the last trip after which the trip computer was reset.
For my last trip I drove about 302 miles (mostly highway) and got 20.1 mpg. My average has been as low as 12.2 when I do purely local driving ! |

Well, didn't want you to feel too bad...
The most recent fillup was right after a 3x ATF fill and drain c/o my local Acura dealer. There have been anecdotal increases in MPG after such a procedure by other members. |

| And this is my present MPG, second refuel after the ATF drain . The evidence builds for the ATF theory. Caveat: Only 30 miles thus far but I'll keep you posted. |

| Sorry, the pic didn't get attached. |

| The wife has been averaging about 21mpg with a 2/3 highway/ 1/3 city driving mix. Not bad for only 8000 miles. |

| Just got back from a 500 mile (each way) trip yesterday. Hit some snow and cross winds on the way home yesterday and it probably reduced the MPG somewhat. Was going to try and make the 500 mile trip on one tank but decided to fill up at just over 400. |

| Is keeping the running history in memory only possible with ealier models? My '05 doesn't seem to have that feature. |

I just returned from a 4 day trip where I drove about 900 miles RT. I decided to set the cruise on 65 going there to save gas (usually I drive 75). I thought the mileage was lower than normal (no high winds) at 23.5 all highway. On the way back I filled up & put 90 miles of city driving before we left (avg mpg of 17.2) and then drove the 300 miles back home on that tank. I drove at 75 mph & ended the trip before the fill up at 24.5 - even with the lower 17.2 for the first 90 miles.
I had suspected a better mpg at 75 all along - for whatever reason that seemed to be the "sweet spot" when cruising on the highway. I know this makes no sense, but that's what I got. In the past I generally average around 27 - 28 mpg (with the A/C off) at 75mpg & 24 - 25 with the AC on. This trip the AC was off round trip on the highway. |
