What's the latest on the EGR valve and the rumble strip sound vibration? I had the EGR valve replaced and it STILL makes the noise.

Seems to stop when I shift into 4th from 5th.??

Any ideas?

What does the dealer say?

My nearest dealer is 2 hours away. So, (my fault) I haven't taken it back in. I was hoping to try to get some feedback/advice to pass along when I do. There's a spring recall on it now, so I just have to bite the bullet and go.

It just seems like if there are all of these comments/concerns about the noise, someone would be able to know the fix. I just hate walking in cold without any information.

Does the noise happen at approx 35mph? If so it is probably the torque converter. Here is the most recent thread.
