I hope to add a Sage Brush Pearl '05 touring w/nav and dvd to a signature line very soon. I have to say that this board has helped me out immensely in my quest to deal with car dealers, so thanks. I am hoping also to be able to return the favor once I get the car.
I am wondering if anyone out there thinks it's unreasonable to be trying to get into the above-stated vehicle for a price of $39,220 out the door. I know that '06s are arriving and other makers are upping their incentives, but the dealers in CT aren't jumping at making this sale. If anyone has had experience in this area or can shed some light on my out-the-door price, it would be appreciated. Maybe you can recommend a dealer willing to negotiate.
Thanks in advance :) |

| It's too difficult to make an apples-apples comparison on OTD (out the door) pricing, since members live in different states and thus have different state tax, license fees, etc. Best bet is to look at the total price before TT&L (taxes, title & license). The '05 Navi & DVD invoice cost is 40,180, so start your negotiations/comparisons from there. IMHO, if you can get 1,500-2,000 off invoice, that's a good deal . . . |
