I'm thinking about buying some '03 running boards from a guy who says he had them on his '05 and they fit fine.
Is the fit just different on the '01-'03 vs. the '04+ or will they just not fit one way or the other?
Thanks for all the actual details anyone can provide! And this guy seems unable to actually get me the part #'s off the back of the boards. Nice. |

| I just put running boards from 2002 on a 2005. Exactly the same predrilled holes. |

Good to hear! Do they fit up against the splash guards the same as a pair of '04's would? Any downside to them? How do you like them? |

Can't answer your question on the 04 - my guess is that they are all the same. They begin right after the right splashguard and end right before the rear wheelwell.
I put them on mostly for my wife who is 5 feet tall - makes it a lot easier to get in and out. Personally I don't step on them. I feel they make the vehicle look more complete - I don't know where you are, but there are so many MDX's in the Bay Area that if you drive around a bit you will see all the permutations.
