| Travelling to Vegas the day after Christmas and was wondering if anyone had any good codes or coupons for car rentals for Hertz, Alamo, etc. |

I pretty much always book with Alamo these days. I get an ok deal but a couple of times when there's been last minute specials or whatever they call them I just book the new reservation with the promo code a few days before and cancel the other one. One of my last trips to Memphis I had a fullsize for $12/day. Not sure how good of a deal you can get in Vegas around Christmas.

I have had good luck using Priceline for low cost car rentals. They use the big guys, Hertz, Avis, etc.
I agree that Alamo tends to be lower in some markets. Enterprise is also doing better some places. I find prices vary greatly by the market. |
