OK- Brought the X in for service (Electronics service). Had 117 miles and 21.1 mpg on trip computer.
Picked it up and the trip computer read 124 miles and 17.3 mpg.
Can you do the math? What MPG would it take for 7 miles to bring 22.1 mpg down to 17.3? About 2?
Thank you Mr Service Professional for driving my MDX that hard on the streets of Manhattan. |

All it would take to lower the mpg like that is letting the vehicle idle while being worked on. Did you ever notice how much change there is while you wait at a stop light.

I agree with G, I have watched to go down while it was idle. Make sense, and you notice it only because it is digital, wouldn't notice the needle moving  |

Yeah mine changes quite a bit the first 150 miles of a tank.
Then again, maybe they were shuttling people in your X. Just kidding. |
