Let's talk about the different Quick Lube places that have either:
1. cross threaded your bolts
2. broken other parts of your MDX
3. not changed your fluids at all (happened to my Dad)
4. used the wrong fluid for the application
5. pissed you off in other ways (post and I'll add to the poll

Let's vent!

Another big complaint I have about these places is that their non-OEM oil filter almost always leaks. And they never clean the oil off the frame.

Have never used them in the past as I have always done the dirty deed myself. However, since the MDX I have used one for three oil changes and one differential change. I provide the fluids and crush washers and all they do is the manual work.

No problems of any kind. Maybe I will get energetic again some day and do the work myself.

I have never used them and never will, I like to do this myself.

The Honda dealership (Vern Eide) in Sioux Falls, SD admitted to placing contaminated VTM fluid in my 2002 MDX. Had to replace it myself to get the shudder to go away when backing up.

Unfortunately, I had to do a double vote.

Jiffy OVER-tightened and cracked the oil pan, so that was an expensive oil change.

Then, a few years ago, an indy shop UNDER-tightened it, so all the oil eventually drained out several miles away, which caused the engine to seize on a bridge on-ramp. That one was even more expensive!

I have the dealer do all the work now. If something goes wrong, they're the only ones who've touched it so the blame is easy to assess.

Many years ago I quit using them after they cracked a solenoid & put a hairline crack in the fuel line on my '85 Porsche. I never figured out how they did it & after 8 months of battling with them, never got a dime out of them toward the $800 repair bill. The oil change co went bankrupt a year later.

The local Acura dealer here does a good job for a fair price - so I let him do all the oil changes.
