Rear cargo light wasn't working so I took the cover plate off to check the bulb. As soon as the cover plate came off, the light came on so I thought nothing of it.
Couple of days later, the light is off again.
I have a couple of kids who sit in the 3rd row and they turn the light on to buckle up the seat belts.
Has anyone had this problem before? Maybe something wrong with the light switch?

Could be the switch or more likely the bulb is not making good contact in the socket.

| Yes...I have the same problem and haven't figured it out. Off one day and next day it works. |

I have a similar problem with my 2003 MDX, except that neither the cargo light nor the tailgate lights are working. I replaced the bulbs for both, but still no dice. I'm bringing it in to the dealer this coming Wednesday to have the issue checked out (and hopefully fixed!)... will post results here.

| My light stopped working and they had to replace the wiring harness...I was OK with it because I got to use the 2008 MDX. :) |
