My 2001 MDX has avout 55,000 miles on it and now just recently with cold weather my front suspension makes a deep clunking noise over road variations, even MILD road variations and seems to get worse by the day. I have scheduled it in to Acura soon within a week however; I was wondering if it is ok to drive for a while or if I should just leave it parked until it goes in?
Here's a crappy description of the noise
Bump:
thunk (normal for going over a bump)
then:
clunk clunk clunk.... sometimes 3 clunks sometimes 4, and even a 5 clunker.
Could this be the front suspension recall? Or are my front shocks finally shot?
I've had to fix so many recalls on this car, very unusual for a Honda vehicle. Maybe I should have bought a Toyota 4Runner instead... =( |
