Hi;
I just bought 03 MDX two weeks ago. I apologize for my stupid question: Is it normal if the braking pad slightly shifts to either left or right when you apply your foot on it to stop the car?

Thanks for your help.

Welcome

mine is a 2002 and it doesn't shift, take it to the dealer.

I have a 2002 and mine does this as well and I think it is one of those "features". If you try doing a search, there should be a thread discussing this.

I agree - it is NOT normal and not a 'feature'.
I had a '02 and now a '05 and neither did this.
Just imagine what would happen in an emergency situation when you had to suddenly stomp on the brakes . . .
