DO NOT RELY ON CARFAX TO MAKE A DECISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are too many defects that can be hidden, There are specific states that allow the title to be 'washed'- a major defect is not reported.
You should get a print out of acura service records, and have a professional inspection.
You might want to edit your post - not sure that usng CF to do free reports for folks is entirely Kosher.

Oh I agree totally that you should not rely on carfax alone. I can attest to this on my own car which was totalled when someone hit me from behind while I was stopped. The girls insurance wrote the car off and I kept it, only receiving book value -salvage which worked out to be around 4500 on 15 year old car. I then proceeded to the body shop and $500 later the frame was stretched back and welded with re-enforcements, miraculously the rear bumber did not sustain any damage, go figure.
I'm still driving my Z 3 years later and $4000 richer. My point is (finally) is that if you run a carfax on my car, it comes up totally clean.
Back on track...
I am having the truck run through MD inspection which is fairly rigorous since you only have your car inspected once in its lifetime, I test drove it and I'm buying an extended warranty. Thanks for your feedback!
