Hello ihaber,
I have a after market RES. When the monitor is down, it obstructs my rearview mirror making it useless. |

Lahber- You might want to search for some of the threads on the installation of an aftermarket DVD. I don't know anything about your skill level, but it's not an easy job. You start by pulling down the headliner.
A much easier aftermarket DVD install uses two monitors built into the headrests. THere is no mirror blockage problem, either. |

| Its not that hard to fabricate a bracket. Like Hammermdx said a good search will reveal a couple of "tutorials" which I followed myself to make a sturdy bracket. |
