| Any recommendations on purchasing a used X? Do's & Don'ts? What should I be watching out for in pre-owned Xs? |

Stay with an '03 or newer to ensure you don't get bitten by the transmission bug (hits a small but vocal percentage of '01 and '02 owners). Other than that, it more a matter of features and cosmetics, and the size of your wallet. The '04 and '05's have more electronic goodie options (bluetooth, etc). 'the '03 probablty gives the best all around bang for the buck on a used MDX.

| thanks...i'll look to buy 03 at least...definitely wanted to miss the tranny bug i've heard so much about. when i see the high mileage on all the used x's that probably just shows how much u owners really love it, huh? (thus u drive it everywhere...specially on the hwy?) |
