Does any one know how to operate rear-air-control?
I have been playing with it, but I still can't figure it out. :3:
I press the rear-control button on the dash and played with the rear-control buttons, but no air comes out. I remember seeing a discussion on the rear blower being not working, but after playing with the front and rear controls air suddenly comes out. So the blower does work, but I just don't know what I did to make it work. |

| You first press the rear air button on the hvac control unit. It should light up green when on. Then you have to select floor or upper vent on the rear control unit and press that in. Than turn up the output and adjust the temp. Mine seems to work better than the main fron ac/heat. That thong cranks.Hope that was of some help.:) |

Have you tried Taco Bell? Usually that gets the rear air going full blast. :2:
After you have turned on the rear manual mode, you have to control the rear unit from the rear console and it really cranks up quite good. |

| If you press the rear ac control know and then turn the rear ran on full blast + nothing happens, then you have a bad tansister in the system. This just happened to me and it was replaced under warranty. It took 30 mins for the dealer to fix. Apparently it's a known problem. |

| I just purchased an 01 MDX and the rear A/C works but the blower only appears to blow air on low and medium speeds. Should the rear seat blower move air as fast as the front seat A/C or it is just not a powerful blower? |

Problem fixed! Blower inlet screen beneath the center console was completely blocked from receiving air. I'm surprised the blower didn't overheat and kill.
Thanks to this forum!
