I hate rattles!! When we one shows up in our '05 MDX, I can usually track it down pretty quickly to something like the cell phone charger rattling around in the storage console or some forgotten toy or bottle cap rolling around inside the rear door storage bin. That being said, you'd be surprised how often I have to pull off the road to readjust the rear seat belts after dropping off passengers.
For some reason, when the belts retract, the metal clip ends up resting against the plastic wall panel or door trim...it almost never fails!! :3: Mind you, a quick tug on the belt and everything's quiet again, but it still requires a stop. Hey, maybe that could be a new voice command in the next generation Navi models! Heck, "Delete backseat rattle" would be a lot more useful than some of the real commands! :2: |

My 03 X has the same issue, always an issue on the 2nd row seat rattling with the belts and if the seat is not fully retracted to the inclined position.
I'd expect better cars from Acura but I guess at the end of the day, all an Acura is are supped up Honda's.
Quality issues i've seen usually applies to Acura's made in the US (TL and MDX) If I will buy another Acura, and that is a BIG IF, I'll stick with the Jap made ones (TSX, RSX, RL)
