2001 MDX with 98,000 miles. Recently have had intermittant loss of power steering. (i.e. it becomes very hard to turn wheel during a turn) More often when car cold but also when hot. Dealer could not find problem, tightened the power steering belt. Took it to a local mechanic who noted fluid level at 'min'. Added fluid and symptoms seem to improve but again started. I checked fluid 4 days later and again at min. Took it back to mechanic and he could not find leak. Wants to replace the PS pump but said he wasn't sure it would solve the problem.
Have had a lot of work done on car in past and don't know it pays to keep putting money into car.
