Have many people had issues with the backup camera?

Yesterday mine did a weird thing. Once in reverse, it would not display the image properly - it looked just like an old style analog tuned TV that was not on the channel properly, and the picture was scrolling and very fuzzy. So I continued to back down the drive way, and it corrected itself somewhat, but the picture was still jumpy and fuzzy.

Then it never repeated the rest of the day, and it's fine today too. Aargh! I hope this doesn't turn into 4 visits like the TPMS did. I guess I'll wait until it presents itself as a constant issue before bringing it in....otherwise I'm sure I'll get the dreaded "No trouble Found".

None so far, just an occasional wipe.

I have seen several cases so far. Sometimes no picture, sometimes, very very dark, and one had a wierd "herringbone" distortion much like you'd see on a tv with bad reception. Every time it was the actual camera itself that was bad.

Hope you are still under warranty. It's about a $7-800 part.

owning my 05 touring x for about a week I did experience the camera not been able to sync with diplay. Move the shifter into park and back to reverse solved the issue.

Mine has not repeated the problem so far, though I keep watching for it.
