Hi Crem,
There is a reserve price which is hidden, until the bid price meets it, then the seller is obligated to sell. Just wonder what is that price.
There is another bid (last I saw is $3000) for the slot in late July for an MDX somewhere in the Midwest for a base GG at MSRP, not add-ons. That really/effectively is $3000 above MSRP.
Wow... :):):)

| Keep in mind - as other posters on those threads mentioned - that sometimes, bidders on Ebay with no intention to buy drive up the prices of the auction. I don't think there's any way someone is bidding $3k to pick up an MDX sooner - if someone was willing to pay $3k over MSRP, I'm sure they'd have no problem picking one up immediately at a dealer (with a BIG smile on his face). |

Wow,
Would you really buy a car (or anything that expensive) from E-bay? I think I'd really need to see/drive it first. Maybe it's just me... |

| I know I wouldn't buy an MDX from eBay. |

I agree. Even if the car is in the dealer lot, I would not buy or commit to it until I have the chance to fully inspect the car inside out.
Just wonder the real truth of those auction/bids.
Cheers :):):) |

I posted the link to that one only because it stands out from the usual eBay ad in that:
- It is being sold by the registered owner
- It is an actual car, not a place in line
With 6300 miles on the odometer, it is probably worth looking at if you are not too far from the West Palm Beach area in the next four days.
I'll bet they might easily be encouraged to sell outside of the auction to someone who shows up at their door with a bank check. |
