| My laptop has built-in wireless network. I'm using road runner on my desktop. I've purchased a router for my desktop but can't get my network off the ground? Do I need anything else to use the signal from my desktop for my laptop? |

if you want to do an easy connection remove the encryption on the card settings and use the default connection, is not totally secure but work in a flash.
I believe you have a wireless card compatible with your wireless router?
So has to work.
