OK, so it was a balmy 35 degrees in the Philly surburbs today so I decided to give my '05 it's first bath. Things were going cooly (pun intended) until I got to the wheels. What a pain they are to clean! I had to wash the inner surface all the way around to give the appearance of completely clean. Has anyone found an easier way to do this? Do those sprays work well for cleaning rims? Also, I've seen brake dust shields on other cars, which helps to cut down on the wheel dirtiness. Has anyone tried those?
Thanks,

I use a cleaner made for wheels so it won't hurt clear coat and such. It's also made so you do not have to scrub it - but let's be real. Most of these cleaners are about the same quality-wise.
Here's what I use, works well and gets the wheels pretty clean. Any time I do an oil change or have it on the lift, I either clean the inside of the wheels or take them off and clean up (But most people don't have access to a lift, so. . .)
I've used this brush for an entire season of washing and it's just now starting to fall apart.
I'm also in Philly, but picked the warmer Friday to wash the MDX!
