I thought I would share my deal with all of you. Here we go!
I was interested in getting a Roomba for the wife. During my research, I managed to find a forum site dedicated to the Roomba (http://www.roombareview.com/).
On the forum, someone indicated that BestBuy has the top of the line "Scheduler" model for $229 (normally $329). Then someone posted that Bed Bath and Beyond, which carries the Roomba, would price match BestBuy AND accept the 20% off-a-single-item coupon (we get this coupon in the mail). So, I go into Bed Bath and Beyond with my BestBuy print out and the 20% off expired coupon (yes - they accept expired coupons). I then walked out of Bed Bath and Beyond with a new Roomba Scheduler that I purchased for $183.99 (+ tax)!
From $329 to $184...not bad! :)
FYI - if you don't have a Bed Bath and Beyond 20% off coupon, Bed Bath and Beyond also accept competitors coupons. In this past Sunday's LA Times, there was a coupon from Linens-and-Things for 20% off a single item. You could take this to Bed Bath and Beyond and get the $184 deal. |
