I have trouble viewing the 'nav' screen during sunny days. The image is washed out. Even when I attempt to shade it with my hands.
Night time viewing is no problem.
This is apparent to other owners? (Sorry if I'm late to the party on this issue.) |

| Have you increased the brightness? Have you set on auto, instead of day or night? Try that first. |

| Screen is set to 'auto', yes. The image is truly terrible. |

Are you wearing polarized sunglasses? Polarized lenses will wipe out the display and make it really funny looking and hard to read. Someday car manufacturers will realize people *do* want to wear them. |

The NAV display has two distinct settings for Day and Night. Night settings are used when the headlights are on for any reason, if you have the Display option set to Auto.
With the headlights off, go to Setup, and set Brightness to Max. You can also set the day-setting Colors to be more easy to see. |
