| Does the MDX have a fuel filter?

Just curious.
Can't recall replacing one or the need to replace one.
So how does it filter dirty fuel from clogging the fuel line? |

| It's a permanent screen that's part of the fuel pump assembly in the tank. So, no. There's nothing that's meant to be replaced. |

I think you replied, but I cannot find your answer:
My Problem: I have had the fuel pickup in the gas tank replaced, as the fuel gauge and the trip computer calculating distance to empty was not working.
My present problem is that every 1/2 gallon to gallon, the gas clicks off.
Today my car was almost empty (it eventually took 17.3 gallons) but the first "click" of was at .92 gallons. It took me over 10 minutes to fuel up my MDX.
I am taking it in to the dealer in 10 days.
I remember you posted a possible solution. Can you please repost?

Someone else just asked this on another thread just recently.
There could possibly be a problem in the filler neck assembly. We've replaced a few of those for blockages/leaks in the EVAP system. |

Unfortunately, I did not print out your reply.
If you have the time, could you reply once again? I would like to have your thoughts when I take my MDX into service.
Yesterday my service writer said he never heard of such a problem!

this might be pretty fair for you having a good quality gas. but as far as for russian gas quality i do doubt and that is why i have already got it just-in-case.
the part number is: 16010-S3V-A00 and i've paid 47$ here.
gonna change it along with sparks when the x would go jerky. |
