Does this sound familiar to anyone.........the first start in the morning, cold outside ( I live in Fla, so 'cold' is not really that cold), and as it starts up there is a thud from the whole chassis (sp???).
Also, anyone ever had the back speaker vibrate? I told the dealer this and because it didn't vibrate at the time they tested it, they wouldn't change it. It happens any time it wants to, radio or cd. Will try another dealer who will believe me....

The thud sounds like the infamous "brake clunk". A search for brake clunk will provide info.
The "subwoofer rattle" is another highly touted "feature". A search for subwoofer rattle will yield all the nitty gritty.

| The thud could also come from the air conditioner. I know the TL makes a thud when starting if the air conditioner is turned on. |
