| Just bought an 02 not long ago. I noticed after buying it that the driver's door makes an ugly clunk noise when I close it. All the other doors sounds fine and not loud. That particular door makes a noise like like an old old car. Sounds almost like a loud "bong!" Does anybody have this problem and if so did Acura fix it for you. BTW, I bought extended warranty. Thanks in advance for you info. |

My '03 does the samething!!!! Never brought it up with the dealer.
I think I would have noticed if it was like that when I took
delivery - but I really do not recall exactly when it started.
Car sounds cheap when you close the door, doesn't it!:( |

| My 02' had that same problem. Dealer fixed it under warranty. They said the factory had left some kind of dampening material or something out of the door. Both doors on the driver side. They knew exactly what it was and fixed it. The door had a hollow sound when you shut. Sounded very cheap. |

Can you find the receipt and post a screen capture? that way we can show our dealers. |

| Sorry it took so long, hope you can read it. It was the tac welds; They made it sound like it was missing or not installed. Good luck. |
