I have a 2001 MDX with 80K, I've recently noticed a buzzing/vibration coming from the center console (near the gear shift) that is related to the climate control. The noise comes and goes but starts soon after the climate control turns up to begin heating (it's cold here in PA). The noise stops after a little while but will return and go away a couple of time in the course of a drive. I can feel a faint vibration on the gear shift when this is happening. It doesn't seem to be related to the main blower fan speed, if I change fan settings the noise or vibration does not change. When I turn off the climate control or ignition the noise will continue for a few seconds and then stop. Anyone else see this? Any ideas on the cause?

Thanks,

I had the dealer look at this problem, turns out to be the rear A/C motor assembly, $600 to fix! I'm going to research doing this myself.
