For about $2800, this unit but is just about everything you need in an aftermarket HU.

Who would put that much money into a stereo in a vehicle?

| That's a nice system. I have yet to see a unit that can take MD until today. I just installed DVD base nav unit (Pioneer AVIC N2) and I think hard drive unit is way to go. Thank you for the post |

Who would drive a $ 40K SUV that runs on Premium when a $ 4K Geo Metro can transport you to and from work in essentially the same amount of time? It all depends on your priorities. :D |

It's not just a stereo. It's a GPS with dual display from the same screen. This is probably the main reason why it's so expensive. I believe this is the first HU that allow 2 different video source to be display. The driver see the NAV while the passenger could be watching TV/Video.
The price would probably drop once it's available to the US but the word is that such technology will find its way into high end Luxury vehicles. |
