I live in a new subdivision that is not recognized by the navigation. I use the breadcrumbs to show me the path from the nearest known road. How do I set this as home? When I push "Current Position" it says it is not a digitized road and I can't enter the address because the road is too new.
Is there any way to do this?
It's a 2006 MDX bought 1 month ago, so navigation should be as updated as possible. |

| Instead of using breadcrumbs, why don’t you use the longitude/latitude function to save your location as home? When you get to your home, press on the location arrow on the screen and it should show you longitude/latitude, save this as home and should be at your deposal anytime you need it. |

Ok, I have tried everything but there is no option for latitude/longitude on the navigation. I may be missing something, but I doubt it.
Does anyone know if you can set any random long/lat setting as your home? Or, even see the longitude/latitude of your current location? I don't think it's possible on the 2006 mdx navigation. |

I don't know the exact commands for the MDX nav, but in our TL if you say "display current location" it will show you your lat/lon and from there you hav an option to save that point.

Press the icon for the vehicle in the circle at the bottom center of the screen. It will display your currently location in lat/long/elev. There will be an option to save the current position and then you can make that your home destination. It might not keep the exact spot--sometimes it jumps to the closest spot on the nearest street, but at least that would get you home. |

| Thanks, I pressed the vehicle icon button and was able to see the lat/long/elev but since the roads are so new the "save" button is grayed out. I wish this nav would allow you to save any lat/long position.....not just ones that are on designated roads. That defeats the purpose. |

| It would not let you save the Long/lat even though it did not show roads yet? I have "05" and I pretty sure I was able to save a long/lat even without it showing roads. |

| That's correct, the "save" button is greyed out at my new house even though it shows lat/long/elevation. I picked the closed spot that would let me save (about a mile away) |
