Sorry if this was posted way back when, but I noticed this board seems to have a 3 page memory. Anyway, I was walking home the other day(yes, some kids these days still do get excersize) and saw an MDX at a light with a black metal brush guard that wrapped around the front end and the headlights. Now I always just assumed it would look stupid on an X, but this truly looked badass, fit with it very well. I was wondering if anyone else had them and roughly how much they cost(We are getting an 07, but I assume who ever makes them with make them for the 07, and my mom wants "bumpers" that dont scratch, this should solve that problem.

| Genax used to make them but I'm not sure if they're still in business. So did T&H but these were without the headlight wraparound. They sold from 300 upwards. A rear guard was also available. Search Genax and you'll see some pics. |

I'll bet you're talking about the Manik grille guard. Take a look here and also click on the series of links inside each of my posts on the subject.
I have it in Stainles Steel but it also comes exactly the same in black for about half the cost. |

No, the one I saw was much more "intricate." It came all the way up, past the grill, and then had to headligh guards which rapped around the main headlights, they also had bars in the headlight guards.

Yeah, that may be what I saw, though completly powder coated.
Looks nice.
How functional is it? If you rammed into something would you be better off not having it(to spare your frame)?
