I checked out the TSB information for the MDX on the NHTSA site. It indicated such items as the EGR, struts in the Salt Belt, the transmission, etc. Is there a similiar source of recall information for Canadian vehicles? I live in Ontario, and we definitely get to drive over a lot of salt!

Regards,

Ron

AS most might find this strange.....I was raised mostly in WARM climates in the US.....in other words NO snow etc......anyway the thought of driving over LOTS of salt just doesn't settle well with me....you would think by now these fancy countries would have an alternative to S A L T.........My vehicles have never seen salt.......I'll keep it that way......:1:

You should have received the recall for the salt thing. I did. You might want to check with your dealer or call Acura Customer Service.

First, let me say that I hate you for never having your vehicle feel salt. Secondly, how is Canada a "fancy country". If anything the USA has a higher standard of living. Also, a mixture of sand and salt is used here. I expect many of the cold USA States still use salt.

Oh yeah, regarding another post of yours, WHEN DO YOU EVER USE SEAT WARMERS.:D

Seat warmers I use ! They are great for that aching back.....
I used my windshield wipers for the first time in 2 years and 12,800 miles after I bought it new......    :D

Yeah, I previously remember you saying your X had not seen the rain.

The RL too? You make me sick. Those cars are just a wasting.

I also recall that your garage is sooo clean you could eat off the floor. I guess you have no kids.

The MDX has seen rain, but the RL hasn't.......Yep NO kids ! :2: :2:

I am neutral to those comments..........Both are fine countries......My ancestors were from Canada (French). I'm french from Louisiana. My fathers ancestors were the original Acadian (Canadian-Acadian) French folks who left Nova Scotia (told the queen to take a walk....) originally from Northern France who landed in New Orleans in the late 1600 early 1700's who were welcomed and landed in what's known today as CAJUN COUNTRY............:1:

That is your opinion. Facts are that in Canada, we have a lower standard of living because we need to earn more to get the same standard. Now don't get me wrong, I love Canada, and would rather live here than the USA. There is just more disposable income in the USA.
