Hi all, I was just wondering whether anyone here knows where I can get a replacement screen for a Toshiba Portege 2000. The part number is P000339530 or VF2095P01. Either one will be OK. The cheapest I can find it for is $264 + shipping and does not include the casing or anything else for that matter. That's a little too pricey for what the laptop is capable of. I also tried the ebay route but that's no cheaper. Any suggestions?

See if you can find a non-working one with a viable screen and buy it for parts.

I've been looking for them on ebay but there doesn't seem to be much of a market for it.

Coming to think about it... Madddawg995, is the current LCD actually broken/damaged, or just a "no video" situation and the screen is not physically damaged? If it's "no video", the backlight (florescent tubes) inside the LCD panel may be bad or the inverter module may be bad... these two cost much less to replace but is probably more difficult to find.

The screen is cracked but lights up when powered on.
