Is there any way to turn off the Navi/AC-Info screen once it's been used? It seems that there should be some way to do this, but I can't figure it out.
Thanks |

| I don't know about the 05 NAV but on the 01, you just go into Setup and press a button like Turn Off or something similar.. |

Just push the "cancel" side of the steerting wheel controls. That would be the top button, left rear side of the steering wheel, pushing back.
You get back to the Map screen. |

Thanks for the info thus far, but what I really want is for the screen to go black, like when you first start the car and if you don't touch the screen, it eventually just goes black until you touch a control button.
Thanks |

| On my 03 if you push the AC-Info button you get a list of menus to choose from. Choose the setup menu. On the first page of the setup menu about half way down find the display option. The display option will allow you to put the display in day, night or auto mode as well as turn it off. |

| Also if you go back to the map screen and don't press OK, it will go back to off. |

If you want to keep your eyes on the road, use the voice command.
Say "Setup"
When the setup screen appear, say "display off"
To get the display on again.
say "setup"
say "return" to go back to the map. |
