Kids hot rod? No, no. We don't market to kids that want $29 plastic pedals from China (we leave that to Momo and Razo).
Our matte finished pedals give the truck a unique and distinctive OEM look and feel.
Our typical customer is over 33 and would only install the best for his high end vehicle. |

Nice product.
Can you post pictures of competition series
"Matte" vs. "Machined" surface?
Do you take Paypal fund already in my Paypal account,
or do you need C.C. via Paypal?
Thanks |

Yes we can do funds already in your PayPal account.
Here are some pictures:
BEFORE beading (Machine Finish) ...

AFTER beading (Matte Finish) ...

About Matte Finish:
Bead blasting uses a high pressure blast of micro-sized glass beads to produce the illustrious finish. The raised edges are directionally sanded and re-sharpened to provide the highest grip possible. |

I forgot to mention; when using our shopping cart you first select your pedals (finish, type, etc), then enter the coupon code for discount and click 'recalculate'. When ready, click 'Checkout' and you enter in all the order information (name, address, etc.) and click 'confirm'. Check details and click 'Submit this Order' which takes you to PayPal - from there you can login and use your personal PayPal funds rather then Credit Card.
Let me know if you have problems or questions: jw@autovation.net
Thanks!

However, everyone please note that we no longer engrave 'MDX'.
...I will say that you still get the same before and after wow factor as in Excalibur's pictures (with or without the engraving). :) |

Attached is a picture of the insert pedals installed on a 2005 Acura MDX.
There is a problem with the enclosed hardware for this installation. The 8-32 hex head bolts included are too short to be used on the brake and e brake pedal. They need to be 1 inch long. Also the e brake pedal cover is almost impossible to remove on an MDX. It's just easier to leave it on and bolt the aluminum plate over the top. The MDX brake pedal under the rubber cover has more of a curve to it than the aluminum one you provide and in order to reach the nut on the back side they need to be 1 inch in length.
So 6- 1" 8-32 hex head stainless steel bolts did the trick. This was a $3.00 added expense.
One other small problem, the top surface of the pedals still show some of the machining mark left from the bit. This can be seen if you hold the pedal in your hand or your face is down on the floormat. Other than that it's not that bad. You can see the marks in one of the above product pictures of the bead blasted pedal. |

R-MDX and EXCALIBUR,
Do these seem like they will stand the test of time? I am thinking of getting a set but I would like it to be a permanent upgrade. TIA. |

They are definitely well made pedals. They are probably 3/8 thick aluminum. The hardware although too short, are stainless steel and nylok bolts.
If you have never done a set of pedals before, a little trick. Put a strip of masking tape on the black stock pedal surface first. Then when you hold the aluminum cover in place and mark where you want to drill, it's much easier to see the mark.
Also don't drill the pilot holes for the footrest and gas pedal too big. |

My AutoVation MDX pedals continue to look good and provide reliable service. Interestingly enough, these metal pedals provide better grip wet or dry, than the OEM rubber pedal surface. I like them.:29: |

Have a problem. Without the "Push on Push off" instruction on the brake, how do we know how to use it?
